The African Students Association was chartered on February 3rd, 1969 here at Penn State University Park, and serves to foster a relationship and a better understanding amongst our fellow Africans and members of diaspora here on campus. ASA takes pride in being one of the largest cultural student organizations and strives to unite the sons and daughters of the Motherland and all those concerned with its welfare. This is mainly done through social and cultural activities–the largest being Touch of Africa.
